The most recent wave of giggles has faded. (Post Bachelor Party - Pre CfJ)

"Oh man. That was awful of us." Bette doesn't look like she thought it was awful. She looks like she thought it was a laugh riot. "We're bad, bad people." Of course that nearly sets off another wave of the giggles as she looks over to her compatriot.

Pausing, she looks around and scruchnes up her face some. "Where the hell are we anyway?" They've wandered some from Warriors, not having had anywhere specific in mind to get to after leaving. "Ah who cares. We can worry about it later." A pause, "That was awesome. In a horrible way. I'm starving. Are you hungry? We should get some hashbrowns."

Bette gets changed and then, after a moment or two, shakes her head. Heading out of the bathroom, she heads back into the bedroom. "Look, Jesse, I'm sorry. This should make things awkward like this. I really need to..."

"Don't be sorry," Jesse responds as she is pulling jeans and a sweater of her own from the closet. "I just...something happened?"

"No, no. Sometimes I'm a little overwhelmed by being around you but that's not a bad thing. I just have to stop running away from it." Bette grins some, "I'll let you get changed."

After a little hesitation, Jesse responds quietly, "You know it's mutual but right now...things are just way weird."

"I think we just have to fight through the weirdness. I'll go make some coffee." Bette grins before turning around to head out to make some coffee and maybe some food.

Coffee, yes. Food? Hrm. "Want me to run out and get us something to eat? I thought we were going out."

"Oh? We can talk here, right? I mean..." Bette pauses, "I had a talk with Vic and I should ... I feel I should talk to you too."

"Sure." Jesse's busy getting out of the Power Girl costume and freeing her body from what was used to push and shape. "Everything okay?"

How to say this?

"I wanted to sleep with other people. And ... Well.. Vic and I have an arrangement of sorts, though it isn't going to be long term or anything. Just until I get past this." She pauses at that, as if wondering if it is something she's going to 'get past'.
